Calgary saddles up and gallops off to Toronto in the 100th Annual Grey Cup this Sunday. Can Kevin Glenn show the CFL what he can do in his first Grey Cup or is Chad Owens and Ricky Ray too much to handle...but before then, we have some work to do...
Wednesday, Team Training from 6:30-7:30 pm with 8A1 Royals at PES. Then CXT Pre-practice Team Training starting at 8:00 pm with Bantam Royals at Gateway Arena.
Friday, Athletes hit the gym at BHS, from 6-7 pm followed by Team Training with 9A1 Royals from 7-8 pm.
Saturday, CXT Pre-practice Team Training starting at 6:40 pm with Bantam Royals at Stony Mountain Arena. Never pick up strays on the way back from SM...especially ones wearing orange coveralls.

Friday this week
Friday's the day...We are on this Friday, November 16th at 6-7 pm at BHS for our individual Athlete-group session. Please confirm via email.
There is some team training this week: Monday, Pre-practice Cardio X with RE Bantam Royals at River East Arena from 8-8:35 pm, Wednesday, Oxford Heights with U-16 and U-19 Ringette teams, 7-9 pm. Friday's second session at BHS is 9A1 Royals Black.
We are also looking into small group sessions 1-3 athletes at my home studio in 2013. Will keep you posted.

Team Training
Teams that Train together...WIN together, as they improve their fitness individually. Coaches who constantly coach on the ice at practice, coach from the bench, coach in the room, then turnaround and "run" dryland sessions...will start losing the attention of the players. Add a Trainer, and the Coach gets a break, the team bonds(under a Fun and Functional Program) and they also improve their fitness for a long season. For those interested in Team Training this Winter...please talk to the Coach and/or Book a Venue(or have connections to one)...then talk to me!
Some Coaches don't believe in off ice training, no problem...come out as a player or grab a couple buddies and come out to regular sessions.

Spring Break
Take some time away, relax, kick back...then, get back at your goal. Keep active...gaming is not being active...walk your dog, go for a bike ride, do some sumo squats...or even a push up or two. Get your parents involved, eat more veggies and trade that bottle of pop for a bottle or glass of water...hopefully Corpell's.
