Egg nog, shortbread cookies, candy canes, chocolates, not to mention cheese, chips and pop...enjoy the holidays. Enjoy the food, just remember it's not an eating contest. Though it's good to add the weight before New Years and will make your "after" picture look soooo much better.

Team Training
You have worked hard getting ready for a long season...now you get to play with others that have the same passion for the game you love.
There are "other" players that may not have the same work ethic and zest for the game. They cut corners, cheat drills, can't count their reps...and they finish ahead of you at practice. One day, they will figure it out (or not) so keep YOUR standards high. As a team, you should only have one goal, to get better. Improve your play and your teams play. Be your own person and try your best. Others will follow. Coaches see Everything!

Goals
The season has started so you don't have to train OFF ICE until tryouts next year...yea right. The biggest mistake athletes make is think they've arrived. It is a journey, not a sprint. So you need to continue to keep your body ultimately in a state of growth and improvement while providing adequate recovery time. Teams that train together are successful together. Just because your team doesn't do any "DRYLAND"...also known as LAND as most land is dry, unless around flood areas. Do the training on your own or get a solid training program...I may even suggest Cardio X Training. Be part of Cardio X Nation...

hockey time
CardioXers,
The Jets are back, the Bombers have a winning record and there is still no snow on the ground. It has been a long off season. Some worked hard, some hardly worked. At the end of the day, it's back on the ice! Hopefully, you achieved your hockey tryout goals. Sometimes things are beyond your control...like what the coaches and scouts are looking for...but don't get discouraged. Play the game because you LOVE the game. It is not a sprint, it is a marathon or journey, remember don't stop believing. We will be back training throughout the winter. I will keep you posted. Also, CardioX Gear is available...T-Shirts and Hoodies. Wear it with pride!

Cardio X Training at Grand Beach
Nothing is better than training at the beach...well, one thing is, training at the beach on a Sunny day. Working hard and sweating feels worth it when you finish your workouts in the water.
